im a terrible coder. i never properly write a readme or comment my code, so im a terrible coder. i never properly write a readme or comment my code, so collaborators often find themselves lost in an overwhelming maze of symbols.
here is a readme file of kuo
the purpose of this readme is to outline the values that i have determined to write into my code. values to bind myself to, even when it is difficult to do so. i have always been an expert at coming up with the right values. while this has made my life slightly easier in certain aspects, i have been a noob when it comes to actually forcing myself to take the correct actions to reflect those values. lets hope the new kuo will fix this bug.
- always control your emotions and think rationally
- chat to yourself and constantly refresh your understanding of yourself
- live in the present. not the past (depression). not the future (anxiety)
- be supportive. be extra supportive rather than demanding for the ones that are special
- always be grateful for what you have and the support you have had. reciprocate them.
- push 120% in your work; eat, play, and sleep well; no compromises
- think in other people’s shoes, but never believe that you know how they feel
- realize that distinct perspectives, past experiences, emotional states, and structural challenges make everyone different at each time-state
- instead, use your actions to support their needs
- actively listen to people that i don’t agree with
- keep socializing with your friends, especially when things are tough
